Ask which identity, age and photo checks they are comfortable sharing. Speak directly with the person, not only a relative or intermediary. A Realr profile can show completed checks without displaying the underlying documents.
Discuss claims that verification does not cover
An identity badge does not prove marital status, education, employment, income or intentions. Discuss important claims directly and confirm them through appropriate independent sources with consent.
Make the process mutual
Offer the same relevant information you ask for. Avoid sending private documents into group chats or pressuring someone to reveal more than the situation needs. Set boundaries about who can receive shared details.
Take time before committing
Meet or talk in a setting you are comfortable with and involve trusted people if you choose. Pause if there is pressure to send money or make a rushed decision. Verification cannot decide compatibility for either family.
