Verification

Prove it’s true. Show the claim, never the data.

Every Realr badge answers one honest question — is this real? — without exposing what proves it. You verify once; the green check travels with you; the document behind it is never shown to a soul.

The badge system

Seven checks. Each one a claim, not a copy of your life.

  • Verified

    Real person

A short liveness check — responding to on-screen prompts — confirmed a real, present person, not a still photo or screenshot.

  • Verified

    Government ID

A reviewer matched their live face to the photo on a government ID. The document itself is never shown — only that it checked out.

  • Verified

    Age 18+

Confirmed 18+ from a government ID, without ever revealing their date of birth.

  • Verified

    Phone

Confirmed by a one-time code sent over SMS to a working number in their control.

  • Verified

    Email

Confirmed by clicking a one-time link sent to their inbox — proving they own the address.

  • Verified

    Location

Taken from the government ID a reviewer already checked — it confirms the region they're based in, never the exact address.

Privacy by construction

We check the document. We never show it.

Most “verified” means you handed your data to a stranger and hoped. Realr proves the claim and keeps the source. A visitor sees a green check — never your ID number, your date of birth, or your address.

Government ID verified

Verified once. Proven everywhere.

  1. 01

    You prove it, once

A short liveness check, a document photo, a one-time code — whatever the badge needs. On your phone, in a couple of minutes.

  2. 02

    A reviewer confirms it

A human matches your live face to your ID, or the system checks the code. The raw document is seen only here, only for the check.

  3. 03

    A calm green check appears

The claim goes public — “Government ID verified”. The number, the photo, the address never do. Carry it anywhere.

Every check makes pretending more expensive.

We can’t promise zero scams. We can make impersonation cost a real face, a real ID, and a real history — verified identity is the first of three levers, alongside public transaction history and real-name reviews.
