How do I set it up?
In Realr, open Account, then Settings, then Telegram, and tap Connect Telegram. Telegram opens the bot. Tap Start. Your Telegram is now connected to your Realr.
How do I send from a chat?
In any chat, type @Realrverificationbot and a space. Three choices appear above the keyboard. Tap one and it is sent as an ordinary message from you.
What does the other person do?
They open a link. Your Realr opens your verified profile. The request opens a page where they choose what to confirm. They do not need an account, and nothing is shared unless they tick it.
How do I hear back?
When they answer, the bot tells you how many verified details they shared. The details themselves stay in Realr, under Ask.
Does the bot read my chats?
No. The bot never reads your conversations and never replies in them. Nothing is sent unless you pick it, every time.
Who does the message come from?
From your own account, so the other person sees you, not a bot. When you send by typing the bot’s name, Realr is not told which chat it went to.
How do I disconnect?
Disconnect in Realr, or send /disconnect to the bot. It works at once.
Does it work with Telegram Business?
It works on any Telegram account. If you use Telegram Business, you can also add the bot to chosen chats and send with one tap from a button at the top of the chat.
Is it free?
Sending from Telegram is part of Realr+. Answering a request is free for everyone and needs no account.
