How do I tell a real seller from a fake?

Ask for their Realr. It shows a real person with a checked ID. Check the item, the delivery terms and their references yourself.

Screenshots are easy to edit. Open their link yourself, and check reviews where they were posted.

They want money first and won’t verify.

Take that into account with everything else you know. Having a Realr does not promise someone is honest either.
