Plain-English terms.

The plain-English version of what you’re agreeing to when you use Realr. These terms are binding; the headings keep them readable. If you need the formal version for a procurement or legal review, write to hello@realr.me.

What Realr is

Realr (realr.me) is a trust profile service operated by TechnoFledge Private Limited, a Private Limited registered in India. You create a public profile, verify your identity, build interaction history, and share your Realr wherever you need someone to know you’re real — a buyer or partner deciding whether to transact, or a person deciding whether to meet you.

Realr is not a background-check service, a dating or matchmaking service, an escrow, a payment processor, or a guarantee of anyone’s safety or honesty. A verified badge confirms a specific check passed at a point in time — it is one input to your own judgement, never a substitute for it.

What you agree to

  • Be real. The handle, name, and identity you claim are yours. Verification fraud (fake IDs, stolen documents, paid-for identities) ends the account and forfeits any paid plans.
  • Behave on the trust trail. Reviews come from real interactions. Inflating, faking, or coordinating reviews is grounds for removal. Same for raising fake disputes.
  • Stay inside the Acceptable Use policy. The full list is in the next section. It is short, and we enforce it.
  • Respect other users. Impersonation, harassment, doxxing, or targeted abuse via Realr reports gets you removed.

Acceptable Use

A Realr profile is a claim about who you are, carried to people who are deciding whether to trust you. That only works if the badge can’t be rented out to a transaction we can’t see. So a Realr profile may not be used to advertise, arrange, or solicit:

  • Commercial sexual services. Paid sexual services, escorting, or sexual content sold for payment. This is about commerce, not about who you are — your orientation, gender, relationship structure, and dating intentions are entirely your business and are never a policy problem.
  • Drugs and weapons. Controlled substances, prescription medication without a licence, firearms, ammunition, or explosives.
  • Financial solicitation and forgery. Guaranteed-return or money-doubling offers, unlicensed lending, and forged or fraudulently obtained documents — including identity documents.
  • Anything involving a minor. Realr is 18-and-over. Sexualised content involving minors is reported to the authorities, not merely removed.
  • Impersonation. Presenting someone else’s name, face, photos, or business as your own.
  • Anything otherwise illegal where you are, or where the person reading your profile is — including sanctioned-party transactions and regulated services offered without the required licence.

What happens if you cross it. We escalate, and we tell you:

  • Screened. Profile text is checked automatically when you save it. A match doesn’t block the save and doesn’t hide your profile.
  • Limited. A flagged profile stops appearing in search engines and in Realr’s own discovery surfaces while a person reviews it. Your link and your QR keep working, and nobody is told your profile was flagged.
  • Suspended. If the review confirms a violation, the account is suspended: signed out everywhere and the public profile hidden. You get an email saying so, with the recorded reason and a route to challenge it. Nothing is deleted — contact support if you believe it was wrong.

Automated screening is imperfect and errs toward flagging. Being flagged is not an accusation, and a review that comes back clean clears it with no trace on your profile.

What we agree to

  • We’ll never sell your data. See Privacy.
  • We’ll never hold transaction funds. For orders you log on Realr, money moves directly between you and the other party via whatever rail you choose (UPI, Stripe, bank transfer, anything). Realr is never the merchant of record for those transactions, never takes custody of the funds, and never sees the payment data.
  • Realr-to-you payments use Razorpay. Plan fees for Realr+ or Realr Business (subscriptions) are billed by TechnoFledge Private Limited and processed by Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. as the payment gateway. These charges appear on your card / UPI statement as TechnoFledge Private Limited (the registered entity behind Realr). Razorpay sees the card / UPI details; we see only that the payment cleared and which plan to activate. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • We’ll honor cancellations. Realr+ and Realr Business subscriptions stop at the end of the period you paid for. Getting verified costs nothing and never expires, so lapsing a subscription never makes you unverified. Full rules in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • We’ll communicate. Material changes to these terms or to Privacy get announced on the page and emailed to signed-in users.

Account eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to create a Realr account. One person, one primary account. Couples may link two individual accounts via the Couple Verified flow; business accounts represent a single registered entity. By creating an account you confirm the information you submit is accurate and that you have the right to use the handle, name, and documents you provide.

Public content + your profile

The handle, display name, bio, category, avatar, social links, verification badges, transaction history, and reviews you publish on Realr are public by default. You can narrow visibility per-field (public, QR-only, connections-only, private) from Privacy. You grant Realr a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, cache, and serve that content so visitors to your Realr can see it. You retain ownership of everything you submit; the license ends when you remove the content or delete the account.

Verifications are produced either automatically (email and phone, via a one-time code) or by a trained reviewer checking the evidence you submit — for example, matching your live face to your government ID. Your underlying document is never shown publicly; only the verification result appears as a badge.

Reports + safety

Any public profile can be reported using the “Report concern” link on that profile, or by contacting us. Reports are reviewed by a human. Outcomes range from no action, to unverification of a specific claim, to suspension or termination. We do not share reporter identity with the reported account unless legally compelled. Frivolous, retaliatory, or coordinated reports may themselves result in action against the reporter. Users may also block one another bidirectionally — once blocked, neither party can see the other’s public profile or initiate a Realr interaction with them.

Disputes between users

Realr tracks the workflow + proof for transactions logged on the platform but does not mediate them. If a delivery is contested, the order can be marked as Disputed and a Realr team member may pause associated badges while both sides surface their evidence. Any monetary settlement happens directly between the parties — Realr is never a party to the underlying transaction.

Third-party services

Realr integrates with third parties for specific functions: Railway for compute and database hosting; Google for OAuth sign-in; Razorpay (Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd.) for processing Realr-to-you plan payments; Resend for transactional email; and Twilio for phone verification codes. Verification evidence is reviewed in-house by our own team, not sent to a third-party verifier. This is the same list, named, in our Privacy Policy. Those services have their own terms which apply when you use them. Realr is not responsible for third-party uptime or behavior outside our control, but we will tell you when a third party is involved in a flow that matters to you.

What we don’t promise

Realr makes scams expensive but cannot make them impossible. Verified identity, public history, and real-name reviews raise the accountability cost — that’s the moat. Use your judgement. Read the trust trail. Realr is one input to the decision, not the entire decision.

If you use Realr to decide whether to meet someone in person, the same limit applies: verification tells you a person’s identity checks out, not that a meeting is safe. Take the precautions you’d take with any stranger — meet in public, tell someone where you’ll be. Realr does not screen for criminal history and is not responsible for what happens offline.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee 100% uptime. Maintenance windows are announced on Status. If Realr is materially unavailable for more than 24 continuous hours in a billing period, paid subscriptions get a pro-rated credit against the next cycle (see Refund & Cancellation Policy).

Suspension + termination

You can delete your account any time from Security — deletion is final and the handle goes back into the public pool after a short cool-off so we can’t restore it. We may suspend or terminate an account for material breach of these terms (verification fraud, illegal activity, abuse of other users, repeated review manipulation). When we do, we’ll state the specific reason in plain language. You may appeal by emailing hello@realr.me; we will review and reply within 5 working days.

Limitations of liability

Realr is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Realr disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Realr’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the amount you paid Realr in the prior 12 months; for free accounts, that amount is zero. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by applicable law (e.g. fraud, willful misconduct, statutory consumer rights).

Governing law + jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally go to the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka. Nothing in this clause prevents you from approaching a consumer forum if Indian consumer law gives you that right.

Changes

We may update these terms over time. Material changes get announced on the page (with the “Last updated” date refreshed) and emailed to signed-in users. Continued use of Realr after a material change means you accept the new terms; if you don’t, you can stop using Realr and delete your account.
