Do I have to email my ID?
No. They see that your ID was checked. They never see the document.
How do I check a freelancer before hiring?
Ask for their Realr. It shows their completed identity checks. Also confirm the portfolio is theirs and speak to references. An identity check does not check experience.
How do I know a remote client is real?
Real clients do not ask for onboarding fees or your bank details up front. Ask for their Realr first. Then confirm the company and the role through its official contact details.
